About Columbia Business School
Columbia Business School (CBS) is the business school of Columbia University in Manhattan, New York City. It was established in 1916 to provide business training and professional preparation for undergraduate and graduate Columbia University students. It is one of six Ivy League business schools, and its admission process is among the most selective of top business schools.
Some notable alumni include: Warren Buffet '51 (CEO of Berkshire Hathaway), Henry Kravis '69 (Founder of KKR), Vikram Pandit '80 (ex-CEO of Citigroup), Xavier R. Rolet '84 (CEO London Stock Exchange Group), and Alexander Haig '55 (United States Secretary of State).

For High school and University students who are interested in learning about Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Venture Creation and Business Model Development, and basic Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Depending on the session, 12-14 days spent at Columbia Business School (classroom to be held at Uris Hall, Warren Hall, or CBS Classroom at Teacher's College).
Students acquire technical knowledge and skills in venture creation, industry and market dynamics, strategy formation, product development, leadership, operations, and finance. As well as basic Programming and simple Engineering concepts. Participants also increase college level research, project management, communication, and team skills. Course content and readings customized to take into account regional cultures, business practices, market trends, and currencies. Entire course will be taught by full time Columbia Business School VFA Instructors/Professors.
